Disney for our Anniversary!!

We decided to spend our anniversary at Walt Disney World in 2001.  I started planning the trip about 10 months before as a surprise trip.  The idea was that we would go out on a Friday night as if we were going to the movies or something, we would end up at the airport then 3 hours later in Orlando.  About a month before the trip I got cold feet.  I know my wife too well and know how a surprise like that would go over so I told her that a trip was planned and eminent so she could be prepared.  We took lots and lots of pictures - here are some of them:

Flower and Plant Festival

During April and May every year Epcot hosts the annual Flower and plant festival.  They put up many topiaries and do even more with their landscaping than normal.  Mickey - of course as the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Pooh in flowers.
We decided to have Breakfast at the Crystal Palace.  We didn't know this was a Character breakfast but who could turn down a chance to meet Pooh?
Hi Piglet!!!
T - I - Double Guh - Er!!!
One of the things that makes Disney so magical is the entertainment and the little surprises.  These people perform in front of the Morroco pavillion in Epcot.
We decided to eat dinner at the Brown Derby restaurant.  It was our luck to be seated right next to the piano.  What a treat and what a great place to eat.  The original Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood is where the Cobb salad was invented.
