Beauty and the Beast

The Beauty and the Beast play at MGM was amazing. We saw the play when it was in Minneapolis - the acting and music at MGM was at least as good as in the Broadway show. This is amazing when you think they have to do this show many times a day. We heard later that Hunchback of Notre Dame is even better, but we hadn't seen the movie yet so we didn't go to the play.

There is a lot of stage stuff at MGM and it is very worth seeing. It tends to eat up a lot of time though.

As an aside, we saw The Little Mermaid during a driving rainstorm. We thought it would be a good chance to get out of the rain. Little did we know that they would also have it rain inside the theatre as part of the show. No wonder they didn't say anything about having everyone take off their ponchos as they sat down.
