Walt Disney World is 30 Years Old

 

Amazingly, we had a chance to be a part of Walt Disney World history.  On Sunday morning, Walt Disney World invited us to witness the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom.  Here are the pictures from our experience.

Here is the Mayor of Main Street and his entourage.
The Main Street band played then all the characters showed up on the Walt Disney World Railroad.  

A long-time Walt Disney World CM made a short speech then the 100 Years of Magic banner was unveiled.
A young CM sang a beautiful song to commemorate the occasion.  I wish I had brought my CamCorder - I would have loved to have this on tape - but alas.  You can barely see her in the window circled in purple.
