The specialty of the island is fudge.
There are about 12 fudge shops on the island. One of the carriage drivers claimed that the
quantity of fudge exported from the island was equal to the amount of horse droppings
produced by the island. Something to think about:)
The yellow buggies that you see in the picture are taxis. You call the island taxi service on the telephone and they send a taxi to you. The are sent by radio. Of course, they are pulled by horses. The carriage and taxi businesses are real businesses owned by people on the island. They are not supported by a park system or the city or something just for tourism.
