Grandma And Grandpa Hallstrom
Our original intentions for this vacation were not to drive all the way to the West Coast. We had intended to travel until either the kids got tired or until I got called back for a contract. Well, we found out that the kids are great travellers and the recession was quickly deepening so nobody was in need of my services back home. So we made the decision to just keep driving. Next stop, Seattle. Obviously Wendy and I grew up in Seattle so we have lots and lots and lots of family and friends there. There was no way we were going to see everybody as much as we would have liked to. Here are some of the people we did see. Those of you we missed - we'll catch you next time. Here is a small snapshot of our visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hallstrom

It's becoming very obvious that we will need to be buying a piano for the kids. They looked like naturals here and certainly enjoy music. Grandma Marilyn shows the kids what happens inside the piano when they push down the keys.
Cory - is that Beethoven or Bach? |

We spent an afternoon visiting the rest of the clan on the Dietzman side of the family on a beautiful end-of-July day. What a neat group of people. Grandpa Bob slides with Cory. |
