After visiting Dawn our next step was to visit the Stratton family.  Luke, Desi, Lucas and Vanessa.  We hadn't seen Desi since Grandma Kinney's funeral and had never met the kids.  Wendy had also never met Luke.

The Strattons, living in Great Falls, Montana, were busy planning their move to Colorado Springs where they now live so we only spent a couple days there.  In addition, during this leg of our journey we had to take Devin to the doctor to treat a nasty case of bronchitis.  With all that we really didn't get to spend a lot of time with the Strattons which was a shame because we would have liked to have more time to get to know Lucas and Vanessa a bit in addition to having the time to spend with Desi and Luke.  That said we had a great time and felt very welcomed to Desi and Luke's home.

On this vacation I had a video camera and a regular camera.  That limited my picture taking somewhat as I was trying to use both.  Hence I missed some pictures for the web page.  You will notice that there are no pictures of Luke.

The second day we spent with the Strattons we went to the park where the kids could run off their energy.  By that time Devin was feeling better so he became a lot of fun again.  The twins had a great time playing with the Stratton kids.

Driving to the Stratton's house was an unusual experience for me as they live in base housing and I had never been on a military base before.  I'm glad Luke was there to guide me through it.  I'll bet it would be even tougher now after the events of Sept 11.
