KILIMANJARO SAFARIS

Kilimanjaro Safaris is really the centerpiece of the whole park. It is where the animals are. They do a good job showing you animals, they are close to the vehicles so you can see them well - though they aren't as easy to photograph as you would think. There's a lot of foreground clutter and the amount and variety of plantlife in the background keeps the animals from standing out. Here's a small selection of the animal photos that came out well.

It's hard to see, but this is a hippo shot from underneath the water. It is eating some plants. This was on the walking tour that you take after the safari.
